3 Nephi 17

When Jesus finished talking he looked around again, and saw that they were crying and they wanted him to stay. So he said, "I love you; your hurts are my hurts. Bring me the people who are sick, physically and spiritually and emotionally. Bring them to me, and I'll heal them, because I love you, and because you have the faith to be healed."

And as soon as he said this, the crowd went and found the people who were hurting and struggling, which had to be almost everyone, and brought them to him, and he healed every single one of them. Afterward, everyone who was healed and everyone who was whole bowed before him and worshiped him and gave him love in every way that they knew how.

And he commanded them to bring their kids, so they surrounded him with small children. Just a circle of all the kids, with Jesus in the middle. And when all the kids were there, Jesus asked the crowd to kneel down, so everyone was on the ground with the kids.

When the crowd kneeled, they could see Jesus was weary and struggling, which was maybe why he'd asked to be surrounded by the kids, and he prayed saying, "Father, I am worried because so many of our people are passing through darkness, and they're not healing from it, and they're passing it on to others."

And when Jesus said this, he knelt down with them, so he was on the ground with the kids all around him, on the ground with everyone else, and he started praying. And when Jesus prayed, the people felt God in ways they never had before, they felt His love shine through every part of them, push their rib cages out, make them bigger than they were. They felt Him in ways they never learned how to speak, because what they felt was so real that language couldn't wrap itself around it. When they talked about it, they just said that you could never feel anything--there never was anything--so wonderful or joyful as Jesus praying for you.

When Jesus was done praying, he got up and told them to get up, but they were so heavy with joy, they couldn't. And Jesus told them to get up again, and they did, and he was happy that they had the faith to receive so much of his love and so much of God's love. He'd been hurting before, because so many of the people he loved were struggling, but after the prayer he said that he was joyful, because of their faith. He was so happy that he cried. Jesus hugged the children and blessed them, each of them, one by one, and by name, praying to the Father for them. And then he cried again, because apparently Jesus cries a lot. And he looked out on this people who he loved, who'd helped him heal from his hurt, and he said, "Look at your kids."

And when they looked they saw the heavens split apart and make way for angels, who were surrounded by so much light, it looked like they were burning, and the angels came and made a circle around the kids, and talked to them and cared for them.

And I know that's unbelievable, but two thousand and five hundred people swore that they saw this happen—saw all of it happen.
